Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Monitor and assist with routine check-ups, medical treatments, and post-surgical recovery.

  • Medical Procedures: Assist in diagnostics, including drawing blood, taking X-rays, and running lab tests.

  • Surgical Assistance: Prepare animals for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and assist during procedures.

  • Administering Treatments: Give medications, vaccinations, and IV fluids under veterinary supervision.

  • Animal Handling & Restraint: Safely manage pets during exams and procedures to minimize stress and injury.

  • Client Education: Teach pet owners about nutrition, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records and update patient histories.
